Mineta Fine Art was founded in 1998. The gallery’s research in contemporary painting was inspired by the ‘Figuration De-figuration' process in modern art. The return of interest for figuration was a slow process and the reconnection with painting history is today a main concern. The freedom to develop one’s own vision opens great expectations for the future but also looks back at painters who followed their own path away from theoretical concepts in contemporary art.

The actual selection from the Mineta Collection shows the narrative power, that connects myths with contemporary issues like war, feminism, environment…

Selected works by Pat Andrea, Jan Cox, Harry Holland, Louis Van Lint, Co Westerik and Denyse Willem.
